The Work Her exhibition, Colours of the Kitchen Cabinet, Faculty Gallery, Monash University, 2003, amplified her unique blend of academic research, oral history, social analysis, artistic imagination, autobiography and archiving. Artist, author, critic and academic, Peter Hill, said of the exhibition, 'Alain Robbe-Grillet was once quoted by Robert Owen in a catalogue for a large survey of Australian art in Paris in 1993: "Let it be first by their presence that objects and gestures establish themselves, and let their presence continue to prevail over whatever explanatory theory that may try to enclose them in a system of references, whether emotional, sociological, Freudian, or metaphysical." You can't ask for more than that, and that is precisely what Greer Honeywill has achieved with her exhibition Colours of the Kitchen Cabinet.'
